People are outraged at a plan to kill 100 of the 215 Crocodiles at the farm after finances fell through to convert it to a park. Currently it
is not legal in the Czech Republic to kill Nile Crocodiles but the Ministry of Agriculture is drafting regulations to make it possible. Even
other farms are mad at the plan to kill the animals. Many say that butchers in the country have no experience in killing such animals and
believe they will greatly suffer during the process. People believe the current owners who took possession of the farm in February
wanted this outcome from the start. If the regulation is passed the farms representative says they will have no problem selling the
meat to restaurants and the skin to makers of apparel.
