Welcome everyone to the new and improved website. As you can see the look and feel are completely different from what you are use to seeing here. That is not all that is changing around the DRN site, the content is also changing. Sure DRN is all about news and current events but that’s only a very small portion of what it’s really about. The Goal of me here at Daily Reptile News is to promote the hobby, promote safe responsible keeping and promote these awesome animals. DRN in 2012 is bringing you so much sweet content from the front lines of the reptile world. The biggest problem I see around our hobby is a huge misrepresentation, sure we have out bad apples, not everyone does it right but my goal in 2012 is to change that representation to show some of the awesomeness that this community has to offer. I will do this with all new programming and projects designed to re introduce the WOW factor of reptiles and amphibians. If you are new here or a return visitor and have not already please stop by the forum and show your support for the new future. This is my gift to the reptile community and I promise you will NOT be disappointed so sit back and enjoy the ride. Website upgrades
Hey everyone. WOW this year has gone by so fast, we have seen people and ideas come and go faster than ever. I have decided to make some very much needed website upgrades. As you can already see everything has changed. Please be patient while I get the site whipped back into shape. The forum still is and will continue to be up and running whole the site is being worked on so stop on by and say hi.
The look and feel as well as the meaning of the website is going to be different than it ever was before. I am sure that 2012 is going to be DRN’s best year yet, thanks for being awesome and stay thirsty my friends.

Reptile News: I am so proud of this community.
I wanted to take a minute to make a little blog post. I was going to put this on the front page but decided to keep it on the blog and say my peace. After what I* saw last night I am so proud at how this community came together and got the job done. The fights are far from over but I was amazed at several things I saw. It amazes me that the video I made telling how I feel about Ball Bid’s was shared more is the first 2 hours than all of the videos in the past month. Because of this it has lit a fire under my ass and made me think that all is not lost. Maybe viewers really don’t understand how much a youtube producer depends on their content to be shared and viewed, after all that’s what pay’s the bill’s, figuratively speaking. Maybe I just need to make a better point of begging everyone to share it. Because of all of this I am thinking a come back might be in order. I am not 100% sure yet but I am going to be working on numbers for a day or 2 and see what I see. I would love to hear everyone’s opinions on this. Not necessarily about what I have said but more so the idea of sticking around and continuing this project for a little longer to see how it develops. So what say you, should DRN stay or should I count my losses? Please don’t say “Do what ever you want” I want to hear real suggestions and ideas and comments here.
