So I went back to work today, not for good. only for 4 days which I am at a toss up over. Half of me is glad but the other half hates it lol. I worked 4 hours today and will work 12 hours for the next three days.  For sure Wednesday’s show is going to be a tough one as I will get home with only like 2 hours to film, edit and upload a show that normally takes 4-5 hours. Needless to say I am going to have to pull some tricks out of my hat to make it happen. Ether way I am ready for the challenge. Hopefully after these three more days I will have more time off to pursue the dream.

Good news is Tango has kept his force fed meal down so thats awesome, Ziggy however has still to lay her eggs. I am not seeing the lumps in her belly anymore so I am starting to think she ether absorbed the rest of the eggs or maybe the bad eggs she already passed were all she had. Ether way I am not sure if I will breed her again or not this year. I am still waiting for Oaky to lay some eggs as well so all is not lost.

So its 10pm Sunday night. This weekend has been absolutely amazing. Our little town had their annual celebration Friday and Saturday, we attended both days. Not only did I get to get real up close and personal with a bull but my wife won 2nd place by a coin toss for her Chili. The fireworks show was absolutely fantastic and the best part is this was the babies first one and she didn’t freak out like the other kids did their first time. The local coffee shop even had my Mocha delivered to the park where most of this took place. Major props to them for going that far out of their way. Today however I think was the hardest day of the weekend. I had to start out by7 cleaning my office up this morning then had a lot of snake maintenance to catch up on. I spent half the day cleaning cages and then had to give the King Snake his first meal and unfortunately had to force feed Tango. To day he had been off feed for 6 months and 20 days and it was starting to show. The good part is I know how to do it, the bad part is I HATE doing it, not because of how much of a pain it can be but I know its super stressful for the animal. after helping it down a little bit he finally took over and got the job don’t and thus far its been about 6 hours and he is keeping it down so thats awesome. My hope now is he will start feeding again because I don’t care if I never have to do that again. I was also able to pair a few snakes up today which you can see in a video below.

I love working with these snakes. They are so interesting but smelly to when the want to be. Live bearers seem like a whole different world than egg layers, for sure it keeps the interest mixed up around here.

As far as the show goes I have been able to keep up on it and I love that. I love doing it so much so its awesome when I can stick to the schedule. This next week is going to be super hard though because for the most part I leave at 2pm tomorrow and wont be back until about 7pm Thursday I think so long as I keep my head on strait I should be able to do it though. Wednesdays show is going to be the hardest to do.  That being said, I hope you guys and gals have as much fun watching this weekend adventure as I had filming it. This is a “website only” production.
