Well I dont have to much to really say other than how wonderful the day was. We did the Easter thing here at home very early, I think the kids were looking for eggs out back at 6AM. We did this because I was behind on a clients property and had to go put a few hours in before visiting the rest of the family today. Eventually I knocked off about an hour earlier than I planned on and spent the rest of the day with family, some of which I have not seen in over a year. We had an awesome time but now I am beat and my body is silently dreaming of my bed. This week is full of 18 hour days but I am going to be making a huge effort to get a few hours at least in each day to get the news out on schedule. I know I have been super busy and just have not had time to keep up the schedule but hopefully everything will even out soon so I can figure it out. My biggest problem is new clients are just pouring in right now, thats good because it pays the bills and keeps DRN around but bad because it leaves little time to really keep DRN up to date.

To all of my friends and followers. I wanted to type up a quick note apologizing for the lack of videos as of late. I have just been super busy trying to work and at the end of the day just dont have anymore time or energy. I may possibly have to change the schedule to make them easier to put out consistently. This is one reason some of them have not been in HD because I can cut the time in half that it takes to produce them in LQ. Anyhoo I hope everyone is doing awesome and we will see what happens in the future, DRN is not going bye bye, far from it, like I said time has just been hard to come by.

I have not done a vlog post in a long time and figured this would be a good topic and time to make one on. I just wanted to let everyone know that clearly I am still here. I have not been around as much as I was or would like to be but never the less I am still here. I have just been getting very very busy with business and stuff so its been hard to keep up on everything. I have not been able to film nearly as much as I would love to lately but that’s just something that has to take a back seat for now. I also noticed today that its been a while since I did any vlogs so maybe that will be my next project as soon as I can do it. Anyway, not to get to far off topic. The whole point of this post is just to let everyone know I am still here and have not forgotten you all.

So I have been asked by a few people to attend the Reptile Expo in San Diego this coming June 18th and 19th. Unfortunately with work being what it is the funds are not there to make a trip like that. It was suggested to do some sort of fund raiser or even seek a sponsorship for the trip. After doing a little reading I am surprised at how much this is actually done so I figured why not. I did a quick Priceline search last night and saw the trip would cots about $700. The way I did it was airfare, hotel and car. Driving was another option but at $4.09 per gallon I think the flight would be a heck of a lot cheaper. The bad part is there is not much time to raise said funds as the Expo is in just a couple short months. I have never had to do anything like this before so it will be a very interesting learning experience for sure. That being said if anyone has any good fund raising ideas please comment on this post and let me know.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone. I checked the statistics for the DRN website this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see as far as traffic goes yesterday was one of the best days for the website since it went public in March 2010. Its awesome that people are using and enjoying it. I can only hope that the growth continues and never stops. There are some big plans being worked on behind the scenes that I hope to announce soon, I have been keeping most of them very hush hush until they are all finalized and the ball it rolling. One of the biggest things I have been working on is streamlining the process of producing DRN in order to be able to take on more projects. Part of this you may have noticed by the change in tone in the show as well as the changes around the website. Thus far the videos have gotten good reviews but I have yet to hear anything good or bad about the changes to the website. I think this is something that will just take time to gather data for and figure out if the new way of doing it is preferred or not by the community at large.

Today I get to spend the day cleaning up the office and studio, it seems they get so messy during the week. I have no idea how so much clutter ends up everywhere but it manages to do it all the time. I took care of all the snake feeding yesterday so thats off my mind but a big thing on my mind are the 2 snakes that are seeing the vet Monday. I am sure the female which I pictured of FaceBook last week is fine but better to be safe than sorry. My worry is with Tango, 143 days now off feed. He appears healthier than ever but I have never had one go off feed for this long so again better to be safe than sorry and just get him in there to be checked out.

I left a status on FaceBook the other day about looking for people to help out in the forums and I am very happy to say the response was awesome. I am working on getting the forums used more and making them a good place for booth people who are new to our community as well as the people that have been here for years. Anyway with all that beign said once again thank you for giving DRN one of its best days ever and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful community.

So Its a close tie on what the viewers would like to see happen with the show schedule. Everyone should be sure to get their vote in. Wow. I am so happy the week for the most part is over. Its been a very hard one. There are a couple of very big things on my mind but they are being saved for my next 2 videos, one of which will be up very soon. I have a lot of  huge plans I am working on so this weekend should be as busy as ever. Its really exciting but scary at the same time because not only do these plans mean moving DRN to a new era but also changing the pace and entering a new era of my life. I totally love what I am doing though so I am sure this new direction is going to be a double dream come true. I just have to keep in mind where the fun is suppose to be and keep it there.
