I sit here again in the middle of the night staring at the ceiling fan, cant sleep, just cant get comfy. To tired to get up and do anything yet not tired enough to pass out. This has become a common occurrence for me as of late, maybe its the weather, who knows. I have been thinking a lot about DRN as of late, mostly just trying to get it done but road blocks keeps jumping in the way. Today was the only day off this week but I was stuck shopping for parts, materials and modifying a peace of equipment to it can be more productive more my business. When all is said and done there just is nothing left as far as time goes. Tomorrow the work week starts again and its looking to be a very busy week once again for me. At this point I am a little lost. I mean I am making the money to survive but not having the fun that I would like to be having. I know we can always say that work always comes before play but I say why not play at work. Its a tough one. At this point I don’t know if I should continue trying to get any videos out or just take some time off and focus until things slow down a little bit with business so I have some free time on my hands. This will for sure be a topic on my mind for the next few days. I would also like to find time to do more blogging, Maybe I will get a wireless internet plan so I can get on line and blog while eating my lunch or something. Time will tell but I have not forgotten everyone and still of course have a love for DRN and everyone who helps make it happen. I greatly look forward to a time when I can get er done again. Be good to each other my friends.
What a wonderful day
Well I dont have to much to really say other than how wonderful the day was. We did the Easter thing here at home very early, I think the kids were looking for eggs out back at 6AM. We did this because I was behind on a clients property and had to go put a few hours in before visiting the rest of the family today. Eventually I knocked off about an hour earlier than I planned on and spent the rest of the day with family, some of which I have not seen in over a year. We had an awesome time but now I am beat and my body is silently dreaming of my bed. This week is full of 18 hour days but I am going to be making a huge effort to get a few hours at least in each day to get the news out on schedule. I know I have been super busy and just have not had time to keep up the schedule but hopefully everything will even out soon so I can figure it out. My biggest problem is new clients are just pouring in right now, thats good because it pays the bills and keeps DRN around but bad because it leaves little time to really keep DRN up to date.

EDMONTON REPTILE & AMPHIBIAN SOCIETY
The Edmonton Reptile and Amphibian Society (ERAS) was founded in 1994. Our objectives are the promotion of the study and conservation of reptiles and amphibians and the facilitation of communication between society members. These goals are met by publishing a society journal, hosting lectures in herpetology, offering to support related to environmental and animal welfare interest groups, and providing opportunities for members to meet and discuss topics relating to reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
Educating our members and the public on topics such as reptile conservation and proper reptile husbandry is an ongoing endeavor. Even so, many animals are abandoned or surrendered because of various reasons, including time restrictions, loss of interest or downright neglect. Since its inception, the Reptile Rescue Program can testify to its success with the placement of over 500 animals.
Guess what is right around the corner? That is right! The Edmonton Reptile and Amphibian Society’s annual Spring Show & Sale crawls, slithers and climbs it’s way into the Sands Hotel the second weekend in May! The exact dates of this year’s expo is Saturday, May 14th from 10am until 5pm and Sunday, May 15th from 11am until 4pm. This show is a fantastic opportunity to learn about reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates and the proper care needed to keep them healthy and happy as pets. This show is expected to be the biggest ERAS show ever with over 40 vendors covering nearly 85 tables. There will be lots of animals on display as well as available to purchase from local Canadian breeders and enthusiasts. You’ll also find an assortment of feeders, supplies, enclosures and accessories available to fill all your herp-related needs! As an adult you’ll only need $6 to gain access while teens and children need only $5 and $4 respectively. And best of all children 3 and under and all ERAS members get in for free! So mark the dates down on your calendar and come on down and get in touch with your wild side!
What the heck is going on?
To all of my friends and followers. I wanted to type up a quick note apologizing for the lack of videos as of late. I have just been super busy trying to work and at the end of the day just dont have anymore time or energy. I may possibly have to change the schedule to make them easier to put out consistently. This is one reason some of them have not been in HD because I can cut the time in half that it takes to produce them in LQ. Anyhoo I hope everyone is doing awesome and we will see what happens in the future, DRN is not going bye bye, far from it, like I said time has just been hard to come by.
