Endangered Crocs released
We talked a little about the plight of the Philippine Crocodiles being the most endangered in the world. Well they jumped on the conservation bandwagon faster than any country I have ever seen. Today they released 19 Baby Crocodiles into the wild that have been raised in captivity for the last 18 months. Now the trick is to see if they survive. I think many of us all over the world could learn a thing or 2 of the outstanding response to this problem.
Thats one high gater

Police in Los Lunas report that while answering a call at a home for a domestic dispute they found several pot plants as well as processed pot in bags. While working the scene they heard a noise behind some boxes and were informed it was the womans pet 2 foot Alligator. She was promptly arrested and charged with possession of marijuana plants, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. The alligator was turned over to Los Lunas Animal Control.
5 foot monitors is back home.
Everyone will be happy to know the 5 foot Monitor that has been wandering Riverside county for a couple of days and giving the media a Godzilla feeding frenzy and pissing off herpers all the same has been reunited with his keepers. 2 year old Elmer escaped out a door that was carelessly left opened by a child while his cage was being cleaned and he was left to wander. Animals services also went as far as to report that they have no heard of any missing pets in the area…………….yet.

Reptile News: Snake rescue chicks rock!
Coming to conclusions.
So everyone knows I run a business that is not related to reptiles. Everyone equally knows that its been hit hard by the economy. I have been thinking so much about it and think its time to cut my losses and go. I don’t employ anyone anymore so there is no fear about putting someone out of a job, I don’t much enjoy the work anymore which is a double whammy. I am so ready to do what I love and be able to focus 100% on DRN and FHH. For those that don’t know FHH was my personal site but will be the place I use for my breeding business. Its just going to be one of those do or die things. The idea of it gets me very excited. I love what I have been doing so much I just don’t think I could enjoy anything ells. At the same time I have to keep in mind that this is a business and needs to be run as such.
